THE QUESTION: Easiest Hall of Fame Selection Ever…?
‘The Inquisitor’ Commentary: Of course. Even though I never really liked Jordan when he played (being a lifelong Laker fan you know why), I could always appreciate how spectacular he was. Probably the most amazing basketball player to ever step on the court, he did things that were just incredible. The guy refused to lose…it was his ultra competitive spirit that made him so much better than everyone else. And I agree with Yahoo columnist Adrian Wojnarowski who wrote today in his blog that Jordan should have been a solo inductee for the Hall of Fame this year. The Hall could have pushed back the other inductees for one year just because of the overwhelming influence that Jordan had over the game of basketball. Even though I dispised you while you were playing, congratulations Michael on your induction.

On the road again…
‘The Inquisitor’ Commentary: Well, no question this morning…just commentary on the past week. Quite a successful week…my father’s surgery went great and he’s now recovering, my best friend’s surprise party for his woman went off perfectly, my Lakers are up 1-0 and looking ready to make a run, met one of the founders of the new company I’m working for and got to be in incredibly warm weather up in the Bay (was 90 yesteday). There were some bad things…mom has some issue with her back (MRI pending today) and my Caps are down 2-0 to the Rangers (cmon guys). But all in all quite a week..and now the trek home begins with positive thoughts and great spirit…and continued hopes for warm weather!

‘The Inquisitor’ Commentary: Congrats to Kobe and the LA Lakers…2009 NBA Champions…! It has a great sound to it as well. I have been waiting for this day (yesterday) for the last 7 years since the last championship in 2002. It has been a long, tough, difficult wait as well. To see the dynasty getting broken up, see Phil Jackson leave and come back, Shaq traded, loss to the Celtics last year and so much more…it was tough indeed. But now, they have reached the mountaintop again and reclaimed the title as world champion and they are indeed the best team in the NBA now. So great to see…!
